Helena Fernandes (Sister)
Founder of Fernandes Fluency, Helena focuses on creating the self-paced courses and delivery of the English courses. Helena also helps you organises the trial calls to see which course is best for you!
Bio:
I am a multilingual languages teacher specialising in the teaching of English, Spanish, French and Portuguese as foreign languages. I trained as a secondary school languages teacher in the UK and completed a master's degree in Research in Second Language Education from the University of Cambridge. I have 5 years experience teaching children, teenagers and adults.
Artur Fernandes (Brother)
Brother Artur is a language specialist who focuses on delivering the live sessions and private lessons for Spanish and Portuguese.
Bio:
Hello, my name is Artur. I have an Integrated Master’s degree in French and Spanish from the University of Southampton and I completed my teacher training at Homerton College, University of Cambridge. I am passionate about teaching and learning languages and can speak five in total – English, Portuguese, Spanish, French and Italian! I love playing team sports, such as football and volleyball, and have played ultimate frisbee for university teams in the past. In my free time I love watching films and travelling with my friends.
Ana Fernandes (Sister)
Sister Ana is an animal lover and focuses on delivering our Portuguese courses.
Bio:
Hello, my name is Ana, I have an integrated Masters in Zoology with Conservation from the University of Bangor in North Wales. Currently, I am living in Portugal and will be tutoring Portuguese courses. In my spare time, I enjoy cheerleading and going to the gym. I also love pets and I’m a co-founder of a dog training company in the USA.
